Mood Enhancing Abilities of Essential Oils

 

MOOD ENHANCING ABILITIES OF ESSENTIAL OILS CAN BE AS SIMPLE AS LEMON

LEMON essential oil is a simple example of a mood enhancing aroma or smell.

You may have a lemon tree in your yard?  The aroma of the lemon flower and the rind of the lemon are uplifting aren’t they.

As we go about our daily regime at work, it can become a grind which then makes us moody.  Sometimes it can go on for days.

Even at home, with young children around you all the time, we get moody.  Members of our family get moody.

There are essential oils that are mood enhancing.  And we can diffuse the essential oil into the room, put an oil on the bottom of our feet or take a deep breath out of the bottle to help us change our mood.

One of my favourite ways to smell the Lemon Essential Oil is to put a drop on the palm of my hand and rub my hands together.  Then I cup my hands and place them over my nose area and take a deep breath.  This area of the face is known as the olfactory.  It is an important area to use when you want to get the essential oil into your body quickly.

SOME OTHER MOOD ENHANCING ESSENTIAL OILS

There are some other essential oils that you can use to help you with your moods:

Wake Up in the Morning: 4 drops Lemon, 3 drops Wild Orange, 2 drops Peppermint.  ( just out of bed)
Wake Up in the Afternoon: 4 drops Wild Orange, 4 drops Peppermint. ( just about had it at the office today)
Bye Bye Stress: 4 Drops Grounding Blend, 3 drops Lavender. ( just about home)
Home at last: 4 drops Joyful Blend, 2 drops Frankincense.   ( At home – just 🙂 )
